The Benefits of London Multiple Births Association Membership
The benefits in joining the LMBA include receiving information, support and help for the families with multiples in as many areas as possible. Through membership you will have access to:
- Our newsletter.
The Encore provides information on upcoming meetings and events, clothing and equipment sale information and plenty more. Inside it you will find useful tips of advice, amusing anecdotes, multiples news (local and national), fun receipes, and community information. See the links beneath this list for the past year's Encores. You must be an LMBA member to view these newsletters.
- Our library.
We currently have a large selection of books on all aspects of multiple pregnancy, raising multiples, childcare and more for members in good standing to borrow. Please click on the Libary button at the top of the page to see a complete list.
- Clothing and Equipment Sales.
We have two Clothing and Equipment Sales each year (spring and fall). The sales are held on a Friday evening and Saturday morning. Members in good standing may shop on the Friday evening before we open to the sale to the general public on the Saturday morning. It is a fantastic opportunity for our members to recycle children's and maternity clothes, toys, baby furniture and equipment at very reasonable prices.
- Socials and social networking.
Fun family events like the summer picnic and Christmas and Halloween parties; parent-only meeting and social nights like our holiday, potluck dinner, Chocolate and Chat night and craft evenings; our LMBA Facebook site where hot multiple topics are discussed every day (and sometimes every hour).
- Exclusive Member Discount.
On becoming a LMBA member, your family will receive a membership card that when shown at participating retailers will provide you with a discount.
- Telephone Support
If you still want to feel connected but have a hard time getting out of the house, the LMBA provides a friendly phone call to expectant and/or new parents of multiples if the couple is interested.
- Membership with Multiple Births Canada
Your membership with the LMBA also includes membership with the national organization MBC.
